The version 1.1 from mail2disk is ready for download.

mail2disk 1.1 has been equipped with the following new features:

• The user interface now also supports the English language. To switch between German and English, it is not necessary to close Outlook® or reboot your computer.
• It is now possible to archive directly to CD, presupposed your operating system supports this functionality (e.g. Windows XP) and you have a CD or DVD writer installed on your system. An index file (XML-Document) will be attached, which holds the most important information of the archived emails.
• Further you can now archive whole email folders in one archiving process, if you like with all existing subfolders.
• mail2disk is now equipped with an AutoUpdate function, which makes it possible to update mail2disk without uninstalling. Normally it is not necessary to reboot your system, only Outlook® has to be closed during the installation process.
• During the archiving process a new progress window is now shown, which offers you more detailed information about the archiving process and the currently archived email, and if necessary to cancel the archiving process.
• In the log database the archiving path of the email has now been split in two parts, the current path and the filename, which makes it easier in the future to handle and move archived files. Existing databases will ben updated automatically.
• It is now possible to search in the log database for items at all offered database fields.
